KRCU Announces Spring Membership Drive Breakfast with Keynote Speaker Brian Naylor

KRCU Public Radio will officially kick off its Spring Membership Drive on April 3 with a membership breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the Barbara Hope Kem Statuary Hall in the Aleen Vogel Wehking Alumni Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. The highlight of the breakfast will be keynote speaker Brian Naylor, who is the Washington Desk correspondent for NPR News. KRCU relies on listener financial support to help cover the cost of programming. Member support and underwriting make up over 30 percent of the budget. Southeast and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting are the other two largest supporters of the station.During the drive, listeners may make pledges by calling (573) 651-5070 or (888) 651-5070 or by visiting www.krcu.org. As the area’s source for diverse musical programming and award-winning NPR news, KRCU strives to continuously excel in providing the highest quality public radio programming to southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day from the campus of Southeast Missouri State University on 90.9 FM in Cape Girardeau and 88.9 FM in Farmington and Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
