Men's Basketball Tip-Off Event Scheduled for Oct. 6

The Southeast Missouri men's basketball program will hold its special tip-off reception on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Baylor Bears Head Coach Scott Drew will be the guest of honor and featured speaker. Tickets for the event are $125 each or $200 per couple. Availability is limited and all proceeds from the evening will benefit the Redhawk men's basketball program. To order tickets or request more information, call (573) 651-2005. Drew, the special guest of Southeast Head Coach Dickey Nutt, has led Baylor to national prominence. From 2007-2010, the Bears registered three-consecutive 20-win seasons and three-straight postseason appearances, including a berth in the championship game of the 2009 National Invitation Tournament and the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in 2010. He is 127-116 overall in eight seasons at Baylor.
