Men's Choral Festival

High School-age male vocalists are invited to join conductor Dr. Peter J. Durow for a one day festival culminating in a performance by the high school Men’s Festival Chorus, the University Choir (Dr. Peter J. Durow, conductor), Chamber Choir (Dr. Steven Hendricks, conductor) and the men of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. The purposes of the Men’s Festival Choir are multi-faceted and include study of vocal technique, rehearsal procedure and performance practice. Junior and senior singers may also take advantage of a brief mini lesson with a member of Southeast’s voice faculty. October 29, 2011 - Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital HallThe final concert at 5:30 p.m. is free and open to the public. NO PREPARATION IS NECESSARY MUSIC WILL BE LEARNED AND PERFORMED IN ONE DAYThe required fee of $20 per student includes a music folder and lunch. A T-shirt may also be purchased in advance with your registration for an additional $10. T-shirt orders must be made in advance.
