Renowned Gerontologists to Speak at 'Crossing the Bridge to Successful Aging' Conference
(Lecture Series)
Dr. David Dosa, successful author and geriatrician at Brown University, and Dr. John Morley, Dammert professor of gerontology and director of geriatric medicine at Saint Louis University Medical Center, will speak at the “Crossing the Bridge to Successful Aging” conference April 29 in Cape Girardeau. The one day event will be held at the Drury Lodge. The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Between speakers, the conference will host a number of breakout sessions on a range of topics, including Alternative Therapies, Mental Health Issues Addiction in the Elderly, Dementia Care, Care Giving, Chronic Care Management, Sexuality and Aging, and End of Life/Palliative Care.  Registration is $75.00 for professionals and faculty and free for undergraduate students. Pre-registration is required.
