Student Government Sponsoring Silly Saturday

Student Government is sponsoring Silly Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon April 16 in the rear parking lot of the Discovery Playhouse, 502 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. Silly Saturday replaces the former Messy Morning event held the past several years. Silly Saturday is designed to celebrate creativity, generate enthusiasm and to let kids have some messy fun while learning. Booths, sponsored by student organizations and local businesses, will be set up to provide free hands-on activities for young children. Donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation are encouraged. Silly Saturday is a part of the overall Student Government initiative called Southeast Gives Back.
