NI LabVIEW Campus Workshops Offered
(Academic)
The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics will host two workshops on LabVIEW on Wednesday, March 23 in Rhodes Hall 301 Computer Lab. Both workshops are free and open to the public; however, registration is required for the second workshop.
LabVIEW is a software package developed by National Instruments (a very powerful graphical programming environment for many scientific and engineering applications). It has been widely used in both academic research and industrial applications. For more information on LabVIEW, visit http://www.ni.com/labview/.
Donald Peacock, senior district sales manager of National Instruments, will lecture both workshops on Wednesday, March 23, in Rhodes Hall 301. The first workshop, which will offer a general introduction to the LabVIEW environment, will be held from noon to 12:50 p.m. No registration is required for attending this workshop. The second workshop, from 1 to 4 p.m., will allow those attending the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modeling, designing and building powerful, custom measurement and control applications with the intuitive graphical programming environment offered by LabVIEW. Registration is required to attend this three-hour workshop. To register, visit: http://sine.ni.com/nievents/app/offering/p/offeringId/682939/site/nic/country/us/lang/en.
