Show Me Sellout Part II Planned for Saturday, Jan. 29

The Southeast Missouri Department of Athletics announced that it has launched a community-wide effort to sellout the Show Me Center for the basketball doubleheader against Tennessee Tech on Saturday, Jan. 29. The event, labeled "The Show Me Sellout- Part II," encourages fans from across the region to get rowdy with the Redhawks and show their support for Southeast basketball by packing the Show Me Center. The event also benefits the Southeast Missouri community by providing an opportunity for area youth to attend a college basketball game. Redhawk fans can help support the effort by purchasing a group of specially priced $5 tickets (minimum purchase of 10 tickets) and making it possible for disadvantaged youth and their families to attend the game. The sponsored tickets will be donated to students in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson Publi c Schools and other area youth oriented organizations. Without these generous donations, most individuals receiving tickets would not be able to attend. Those wishing to make a contribution and sponsor a group can do so by calling the Southeast Missouri Ticket Office at (573) 651-2113. The tickets purchased will be distributed to area organizations on behalf of donors.
