New Year's Family Fun Day

The Department of Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State University has announced that the Student Recreation Center – North (SRC-N) and the Student Aquatic Center (SAQ) will be open on New Year’s Day. Jan. 1, with free admission to all families that enter the SRC-N that day.
“We think this is a great way to showcase our facilities to our students, staff and community members during a day when families are together celebrating the New Year anyway,” said Troy Vaughn, director of Recreation Services. “Why not have them come inside and be active and healthy in our facilities?”
The “New Year’s Family Fun Day” is an opportunity to celebrate the New Year in style in the Student Recreation Center or in the Student Aquatic Center, free of charge (regular admission is $5 per person) The Student Recreation Center will be open from noon to 4 p.m. that day, while the Student Aquatic Center and the indoor climbing wall will both be open from 1-3 p.m. for use.
