NBC's Stand-Up for Diversity Comedy Tour
(Entertainment)
NBC's Stand-Up for Diversity Comedy Tour features Mal Hall, Erik Rivera and Fahim Anwar. With only three years of performing as a comedian, Hall has worked with headliners Dat Phan, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Ian Edwards, Bobby Lee and Patrick DeGuire at clubs and colleges across the country. Along with regularly performing at the World Famous Comedy Store and the Irvine Improv, he has performed at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and for many members of the U.S. military at various bases worldwide. Rivera has appeared numerous times on SiTV, Comedy Central, the Montel Williams Show, Tyra and most recently on MTV Tr3's Top Trece Iconos. Showing he knows no bounds, Rivera has recently inked a deal with Urban Latino Radio to host his own weekly talk show Hooked on E! starting this summer. His "boy next door" good looks and unique perspective make him one of New York's fastest rising young comedians. Fahim is a regular on the Los Angeles comedy circuit, doing spots at the Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Union, Ice House and the Comedy Store, among others. He has also recently toured with national headlining comedian Jo Koy. Fahim dabbles with internet shorts as well. His short "Afghan Wedding" has amassed over half a million views on YouTube while being featured on Break.com and Digg.com. His YouTube channel videos have now been viewed more than a million times. This past spring, Fahim was a guest star on NBC's "CHUCK." This event is free and open to the public. This show is for mature audiences only.
