Agriculture Entrepreneurship - Know Local, Buy Local, Eat Local

This half day event is open to the public and will address issues of marketing small, non-commodity crops and getting funding for innovative agricultural entrepreneurship projects. The day starts at 8:45 am with registration and networking activities. At 9 a. m., a breakfast of local foods will be served by Jones Heritage Farms. Held at the Arena Park Fairgrounds 4-H Building on November 16, Ag-Entrepreneurship Day is co-sponsored by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the University of Missouri Extension, Agri-Missouri, and the Southeast MO State University Department of Agriculture.
Invited Keynote: Dr. Jon Hagler, Missouri Director of Agriculture. There is no charge to attend this event, but pre-registration is required by November 11, 2010. Seating is limited. Call 573-651-2929 to register.
