This all-strings program presents special guest harp soloist, Juliette R. Buchanan, in two enchanting works for harp and strings: Saint-Saens' Danses and Grandjany's Aria in Classic Style. A professor of harp at Baylor University, Juliette has performed at the White House and at Carnegie Hall and has studied with legendary harp teacher, Alice Chalifoux. Also on the program will be the brilliant "Concerto Grosso" for multiple string orchestras by Vaughan Williams, with guest orchestra from the Cape Girardeau Public Schools performing with the Symphony.
