Fun fact: Crisp Hall used to be the University High School, a lab for secondary education majors. It had a full gymnasium attached to the back of the hall. The gymnasium was removed during the building’s renovation and completion of the Student Recreation Center.
History: Originally the Training School, this limestone building was built between 1921 and 1923. The flood of 1922 delayed construction. Completely renovated in 1987, its north side, once U-shaped, was enclosed to create Glenn Auditorium.
