Augustana College Professor to Lecture on 'The Shawnees and their Neighbors'

“The Shawnees and Their Neighbors, 1795-1870” will be the topic of a lecture by a history professor from Augustana College Sept. 16 at Southeast Missouri State University.
Dr. Stephen Warren will speak at 7:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.
Warren, professor of history at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., will discuss his book by the same title, The Shawnees and Their Neighbors, 1795-1870. The lecture is sponsored by the Center for Regional History at Southeast Missouri State University and the “Confluence and Crossroads Teaching American History Grant” of the Jackson (Mo.) Public School System.
