KRCU Free Folk Concert

KRCU at Southeast Missouri State University announces plans to host a free folk music concert as part of the station’s fall fund-raising campaign.
“Folkapalooza 2012” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Rose Theatre on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. Beginning at 7 p.m., “Folkapalooza” will be broadcast live on KRCU. The free event will highlight area musicians who are volunteering their time to support KRCU.
Scheduled to appear are: Barefoot on Sunday, The Doc Hands and Mikayla and the Davis Connection. All of the performances will be recorded for later broadcast on KRCU’s locally produced folk music program “Your Folk Connection,” which airs Saturday nights at 7 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by Buchheit, C106 Radio and Ken Earl Productions.
