Museum Offering Watercolor Landscape Painting Workshops
(Fine Arts)

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will offer watercolor landscape painting workshops for adults beginning Feb. 7.

Artist Kelly Hughes will present the workshops on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 7-28.

Participants will learn compositional principles, texturing techniques and color choices helpful in creating luminous landscape paintings. This class is open to watercolorists at any stage of practice.

Hughes offers guidance and encouragement to participants as they explore the fluid beauty of this painting medium.

Due to limited seating, pre-registration is required. To register, call (573) 651-2301. Workshops are free, but participants are responsible for their own art supplies.
