Grant Lund, Dingledein Winner Moderating Art Critique at River Campus

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus along with the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri are proud to host a lecture Sept. 30 and art critique Oct. 1 with special guest Dr. Grant Lund.

 

A drop-in art critique is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 1 in the John and Betty Glenn Convocation Center at the River Campus. Artists and educators are encouraged to bring their works for critique.

 

Lund received his master of fine art degree in painting and printmaking at Brigham Young University. He earned a doctorate of art education from Pennsylvania State University.  He is a previous recipient of the Otto F. Dingeldein Award, given annually by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri for achievement of excellence in the arts. He is currently active creating, exhibiting, writing and speaking about art.

 

He is known in this area for designing the Jackson mural, the William Faulkner mural in Southeast Missouri State University's Kent Library and the Stephen Hawking mural for the College of Science.
