As a jazz musician, Beeson has performed with jazz artists Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Bellson, Conte Condoli, Gary Foster, Bobby Shew, John Faddis, Marvin Stamm, Conrad Herwig, Bill Watrous and John Fedchock.
