Department of Communication Studies Hosting Annual Weis Lecture
(Lecture Series)

The 15th Annual Weis Lecture will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, in Dempster Hall's Glenn Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.  The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Stuart Towns, chair of the Department of Communication Studies.  His lecture, entitled "College Students Changing Their World: Persuasion and Civic Engagement," will discuss the role of college students during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.  This lecture series is sponsored by the Weis Lecture fund and the Department of Communication Studies.  For further information, contact Fran Scholl at (573) 651-2061 or  mfscholl@semo.edu.
